Job Description

Moniepoint Incorporated, a global business payments and banking platform and QED Investors’ first African investment, is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Sokoto. This role focuses on overseeing loan portfolios, leading field credit teams, and driving business growth through effective credit management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Field Credit Officers, setting performance goals and ensuring alignment with company targets.
  • Oversee loan portfolio growth by monitoring approvals, disbursements, repayments, and identifying risks.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and portfolio management standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth loan disbursement and repayment processes.
  • Prepare and present performance reports with recommendations for portfolio improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in lending, credit, or portfolio management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong background in credit risk and financial analysis.
  • Proven record of managing and expanding loan portfolios.
  • Must be resident in Sokoto State.
  • Skills required: Leadership, analytical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with technology.
