erpSOFTapp is seeking a skilled Project Accountant to oversee the financial management of ongoing projects. The role involves ensuring budgets, forecasts, and expenditures are accurate and compliant while supporting project teams with actionable financial insights. This position is ideal for detail-oriented finance professionals passionate about project cost control and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage project budgets, tracking planned versus actual spending.
• Record and allocate project-related expenses to the correct cost centers and work orders.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including budget variance analyses and cash-flow forecasts.
• Reconcile project invoices, purchase orders, and timesheets to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and financial adjustments.
• Provide cost estimates and financial input during project bidding and pricing stages.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal financial policies.
• Identify and forecast potential risks impacting project profitability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN qualification is mandatory.
• 2–3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and cost management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Age range: 25–28 years old.
