A reputable healthcare organization in Owerri, Imo, is seeking a qualified Officer, Finance & Budget to oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource management. The role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational efficiency to enhance healthcare service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets in alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present timely financial reports and variance analyses to support management decisions.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost-effective healthcare operations.
  • Enforce compliance with financial policies, accounting principles, and healthcare regulations.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership to foster accountability and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in budgeting, finance, or accounting (experience in healthcare or public sector preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, or CIMA are an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in financial software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must reside in Imo State or be willing to relocate.
