Global Payroll Administrator
Location: Lagos
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Administrator with demonstrated experience managing end-to-end international payroll operations, including coordinating with outsourced payroll service providers. You are meticulous, dependable, and committed to improving processes wherever possible.
This position may be office-based in London or fully remote and will report directly to the Global Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver all payroll cycles on schedule with complete accuracy.

Organize and process payroll and contractor data in a structured, efficient manner.

Oversee payroll schedules and ensure all monthly tasks are completed.

Generate payroll reports and provide journal-format data to the finance team.

Uphold GDPR standards and ensure strict confidentiality of payroll information.

Address payroll inquiries, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.

Identify opportunities to enhance workflows across HR, Payroll, and Finance.

Maintain current payroll policies and draft new procedures when needed.

Support HR and Finance teams on project-related activities.

Assist Finance with reporting duties and audit documentation.

Contribute to future expansions of global payroll operations.

Handle all payroll-related correspondence and manage escalated cases.

Foster strong collaboration with internal departments.

Build and maintain productive relationships with external vendors to ensure compliance and high-quality service internationally.
Requirements

Previous experience in a payroll role or managing outsourced payroll providers.

Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and colleagues at all levels.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
