Job Description
A reputable organization in the Oil & Gas sector seeks a qualified Methods Engineer to support and optimize Supply Chain tools, systems, and processes. The role focuses on tool performance, user training, compliance, and continuous improvement across Supply Chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with HSE rules, procedures, and legislation while taking proactive measures to prevent hazards and operational risks.
- Provide frontline support for Supply Chain tools, including managing a functional hotline, resolving system-related concerns, and supporting tool appropriation across departments.
- Coordinate user training, onboarding, and continuous retraining on SAP and other Supply Chain tools, ensuring proper segregation of duties and optimal tool utilization.
- Test, validate, and support the rollout of new tool upgrades, system enhancements, and process improvements, including participation in data-cleaning initiatives.
- Monitor new technologies relevant to Supply Chain processes and provide guidance based on potential optimization opportunities.
- Perform regular system controls and contribute to audit readiness, including SOX and risk-based audits.
Requirements
- Second-Class degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with at least 3 years of Oil & Gas experience.
- Strong proficiency in C&P Supply Chain tools such as UNISUP, planning tools, e-sourcing platforms, and NipeX.
- Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel (with the ability to write macros), Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in risk-based auditing and the ability to perform both financial and non-financial audits.
- Knowledge of LEAN methodology and training techniques, with strong communication skills and a results-driven mindset.
