Job Description
Recare Limited is seeking an experienced Laboratory Chemist to support product research, development, and process optimization within an FMCG environment. This role focuses on developing new formulations, improving existing product processes, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance across production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop new product formulations in line with market needs and regulatory standards.
- Generate and assess ideas for new products based on feasibility, profitability, and resource availability.
- Modify and improve existing product processes to enhance performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan, organize, and oversee laboratory and production trials to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, technical, and production teams during product development stages.
- Ensure all formulations and processes comply with relevant industry and safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
- Current experience working as a Chemist or in a similar laboratory-based role.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and social media platforms.
- Strong analytical, logical, and investigative thinking skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
