Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

A project-focused organization is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to design, manage, and strengthen monitoring frameworks that track project performance, outcomes, and impact. This role requires strong data management skills, experience with ICT-based M&E tools, and working knowledge of QHSE standards to support evidence-based decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage project monitoring and evaluation systems
• Design monitoring frameworks to track progress, outputs, and project impact
• Collect, analyze, and interpret project data while ensuring data quality and accuracy
• Utilize ICT tools for M&E activities, including survey design and programming
• Produce regular performance reports and provide data-driven insights for decision-making
• Ensure compliance with QHSE standards within monitoring and evaluation processes

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in monitoring & evaluation or project management
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in QHSE-related roles
• Proven experience managing M&E systems, indicators, and reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Relevant QHSE certifications or certifications currently in progress
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards is an added advantage
