Job Description

Agro Preciso Limited is seeking a highly skilled Head Accountant to provide strong financial leadership and strategic insight. This role goes beyond routine accounting, requiring hands-on management of financial operations, compliance, reporting, and advisory support in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger integrity, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare, review, and analyze accurate financial statements in line with applicable accounting and reporting standards
• Oversee tax filings, statutory returns, and external audits, ensuring full regulatory compliance
• Design, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and financial data
• Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making
• Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable management reports
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead improvements in financial systems, automation, and controls

Requirements & Qualifications

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 4–8 years relevant professional accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel for analysis and modeling
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
