Job Description
Recare Limited is seeking an experienced Accountant to support effective financial management, reporting, and control within a manufacturing environment. This role is suited to a detail-oriented professional with strong industry knowledge and proven expertise in accounting, treasury management, and financial analysis. The Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, audit support, and performance management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and related accounts with accurate documentation and proper recording of transactions
- Review entries to general and subsidiary ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial closings and provide management and statutory financial reports
- Implement and manage the chart of accounts and accounting systems, including policies, procedures, and tools
- Support external audits by ensuring timely availability of all required financial and non-financial records
- Implement and monitor cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control
- Provide support for business planning, budgeting, and performance management activities
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 10–15 years of accounting experience within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis
- Proven experience in budgeting, tax preparation, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are an added advantage
- Demonstrated experience in treasury management and cost accounting
