Job Description

Absen Energy Nigeria is seeking a skilled and creative Social Media Manager to drive its online presence and digital engagement. This role focuses on building brand visibility, growing online communities, and supporting business and recruitment goals through effective social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a results-driven social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and publish daily content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok (where applicable).
  • Create engaging content such as posts, captions, reels, short-form videos, and basic visual designs.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content calendars for campaigns, product launches, and corporate events.
  • Monitor industry and platform trends to improve reach, engagement, and brand relevance.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly to maintain positive audience relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure accurate promotion of products and projects.
  • Track performance using analytics tools and prepare detailed monthly performance reports.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment campaigns through targeted social media content.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a related Digital Marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current best practices.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to create basic graphics and videos using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong creative thinking with attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience running paid social media ads is an added advantage.
