Job Description

Five28 is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Interior Architect to lead interior design projects from concept to execution. This role requires a strong design eye, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to oversee project delivery while maintaining Five28’s design standards. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with technical expertise and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interior design concepts, space layouts, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects
  • Prepare mood boards, material selections, finishes, and visual presentations to clearly communicate design intent
  • Supervise and ensure accurate implementation of approved designs throughout project execution
  • Engage with clients to understand design needs, preferences, timelines, and budget requirements
  • Present design proposals and revisions professionally, building trust and long-term client relationships
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and promptly resolve design-related issues
  • Guide and mentor junior designers and interns, providing feedback and professional support
  • Ensure all design outputs align with Five28’s creative vision and brand standards
  • Stay up to date with interior design trends, materials, and emerging technologies
  • Recommend innovative ideas to improve design quality and enhance Five28’s service offerings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design or interior architecture
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, detailing, and completed projects
  • Proficiency in relevant design and presentation software
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
