Job Description

Beacongate Limited is seeking an experienced Facility & Asset Manager to oversee the continuous operation, maintenance, and optimization of its studio facilities and critical infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring a reliable, high-performance live broadcast environment through effective asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a detailed asset register covering all studio equipment, including cameras, lighting systems, sound consoles, servers, vehicles, and corporate assets
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for broadcast and technical equipment to reduce downtime and on-air disruptions
  • Manage power infrastructure such as generators, industrial UPS systems, and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
  • Oversee HVAC, precision cooling, and environmental control systems for studios and server rooms
  • Supervise building fabric maintenance, including soundproofing, roofing, civil works, and water supply systems
  • Coordinate inventory management, repairs, and replacement of office and studio furniture to meet ergonomic and design standards
  • Manage third-party vendors, including diesel suppliers and technical service providers, in line with agreed SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with statutory permits, insurance policies, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and manage annual facilities Opex and Capex budgets with a focus on cost efficiency and quality delivery

Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND in Engineering, Estate Management, or Facilities Management
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in facilities management
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a media, telecoms, or technical environment
  • Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
  • IFMA or NIQS membership is an advantage
