Dangote Industries Limited is seeking an experienced Inventory Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen inventory-related financial operations. This role is essential for ensuring accurate inventory accounting, cost optimization, and compliance with financial standards across operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial expertise with hands-on experience in inventory management within a large organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize holding costs
  • Analyze inventory performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement inventory finance policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices
  • Prepare and present detailed inventory-related financial reports to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements related to inventory

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting certification such as ACA or ACCA is highly desirable
  • 5–7 years of relevant finance experience, with a strong focus on inventory management
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting software, particularly SAP
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory accounting principles and cost management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
