Job Description

A fast-growing Microfinance Bank with a strong footprint in Lagos is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its treasury and funds management function. This role is critical to strengthening liquidity management, driving deposit growth, and ensuring full regulatory compliance while supporting sustainable business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive deposit mobilization strategies to grow and diversify the bank’s funding base.
• Manage liquidity positions to ensure optimal cash flow and meet short- and long-term obligations.
• Oversee treasury operations, including funds allocation, investment decisions, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to treasury and funds management.
• Prepare and present treasury reports, forecasts, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in treasury, funds management, or banking operations.
• Strong knowledge of liquidity management, deposit mobilization, and financial regulations.
• Proven analytical, reporting, and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
