Job Description

Vericast, a financial institution performance partner, is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead moderate-to-high complexity technical and software implementation projects. This role focuses on driving delivery excellence across agile and traditional environments while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.

Location: San Antonio, TX, USA (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time | Shift: 1st
Salary: USD 95,000 – 135,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between engineering, product management, program management, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Define execution plans based on scope, timelines, and available resources; manage schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Monitor technical scope, assess risks, manage changes, and recommend adjustments to leadership as needed.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; coach teams on agile practices.
  • Coordinate work across remote technical teams and external vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day execution.
  • Drive technical discussions and ensure solutions align with business needs and reference architecture.
  • Provide clear and timely project communication, including status reports, risk updates, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables, adoption of solutions, and documentation of lessons learned and outcomes.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5–7 years of experience managing complex technical or software projects.
  • Hands-on experience working with agile engineering teams and systems integration projects across the full lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of project management disciplines, SDLC, technical architectures, and data integration.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success delivering software projects using Agile methodologies and hybrid approaches.

Additional Information

  • Base salary range: USD 95,000 – 135,000 per year.
  • Eligible for an annual bonus incentive program.
