Job Description

The Senior IT Business Analyst will support the Onshore IT Manager by acting as the primary link between business users and technology delivery teams. The role ensures that digital initiatives are translated into clear requirements, well-defined solutions, measurable value, and successful adoption across operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, and document business processes, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business and operational needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements for technology teams.
• Support solution design, validation, testing, and user acceptance to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Engage stakeholders across frontline operations, management, and executive levels to align expectations and priorities.
• Track benefits realization and performance metrics to ensure IT initiatives deliver measurable business value.
• Support change management and user adoption to maximize the impact of digital initiatives.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, preferably within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong business analysis capability in complex operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across operational and executive levels.
• Structured thinking with strong documentation and process-mapping discipline.
• Ability to translate operational challenges into practical, value-driven technology solutions.
