KR Consulting Limited is seeking a highly skilled Associate Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality audit outcomes for diverse client portfolios. This role suits an experienced audit professional with strong leadership, technical depth, and client management capability.

Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 Monthly
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent audit engagements as the primary project owner.
- Design and execute audit strategies aligned with ISA, PCAOB, and GAAP/IFRS requirements.
- Perform high-level risk assessments, including fraud risk and internal control evaluations.
- Manage engagement budgets, monitor profitability, and support fee discussions.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex accounting, tax, and disclosure matters.
- Conduct final reviews of audit workpapers to ensure sufficient and appropriate audit evidence.
- Ensure all audit deliverables meet firm quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Allocate and manage audit resources effectively across engagements.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate Seniors and Associates to support professional development.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client CFOs, Controllers, and senior stakeholders.
- Communicate audit findings clearly, including sensitive and high-risk issues.
- Identify value-added advisory opportunities and support business development initiatives.
- Oversee the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
- Lead engagement close-out meetings with client management and Audit Committees.
- Collaborate closely with Engagement Partners to support final audit sign-off.
Requirements / Qualifications / Skills
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN/ACCA membership (or Final Stage) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience with an audit consulting firm is required.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of proven external audit experience, including significant experience at Senior Associate (Supervisory) level or Associate Manager level.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and Nigerian regulatory frameworks, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Close proximity to Jibowu is strongly preferred.
