Job Description

Kuda Bank is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support the design, automation, security, and reliability of its cloud and infrastructure systems. The role focuses on building scalable CI/CD pipelines, improving system performance, strengthening cybersecurity practices, and enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement testing and automation tools and commission IT infrastructure
  • Provision, configure, and de-provision environments using automation
  • Define and manage development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations
  • Apply troubleshooting techniques and advise on fixing code bugs
  • Ensure adherence to defined DevOps processes and continuously improve operational workflows
  • Develop and track metrics to demonstrate system performance and agility using monitoring tools
  • Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures through vulnerability assessments and risk management
  • Perform incident management and root cause analysis
  • Select, deploy, and maintain CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and project KPIs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a similar DevOps or cloud engineering role
  • Experience working with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps is an added advantage)
  • Strong exposure to at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Microsoft Azure (preference for Azure and AWS)
  • Solid experience with ElasticSearch, Datadog, and Sentry
  • Good understanding of infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and management
  • Exposure to maintaining monitoring and alerting systems
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting relational databases and distributed systems
  • Working knowledge of monitoring and event management tool implementations
  • Basic system administration and Linux skills
