Job Description

A global technology company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-impact digital platform within the smart home and IoT space. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating end-to-end project delivery, and ensuring scalable, high-quality outcomes for a European smart home technology leader. The position offers the opportunity to work on long-term, enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives with global reach.\

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and scope management of fixed-price web and cloud-based projects
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks for engineering teams
  • Proactively manage project milestones, risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and change requests
  • Maintain project governance, documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communication
  • Support technical discussions and architecture reviews within Java and AWS environments
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes aligned with Agile and Scrum principles
  • Facilitate collaboration between product and engineering teams to align priorities and quality standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing technology projects in fast-paced environments
  • Strong project leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Proven experience delivering fixed-price projects
  • Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies
  • Strong foundation in project governance including scoping, estimation, planning, tracking, and risk management
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to manage technical requirements and stakeholder expectations
  • Experience in pre-sale or project discovery activities
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher

  • German language proficiency
  • Relevant certifications such as CSM, PMP, or Product Ownership
