Job Description
Growth in Value Alliance (GVA) Partners Limited is hiring a Finance Officer to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role is suited for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage financial records, transactions, and reporting in a structured and confidential manner.
Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate records for all payments made into company accounts by clients, third parties, and partners
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintain accurate records of all funds sent to local and international partners, as well as service providers
• Prepare and issue client quotes, invoices, and receipts
• Process financial transactions and ensure timely conclusion with bankers
• Record all transactions and provide daily reports on banking activities
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
• Assist with budget preparation, expense tracking, and variance analysis
• Ensure the security of company funds
• Provide periodic reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual) to the direct report
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the direct report
Requirements / Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certification (ACA) is an added advantage
• Master’s degree in Finance or a related field is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in a similar role
• Age: 30 years and above

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Excel and accounting software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
