Job Description
The Practice & Quality Assurance Coordinator (REACH) plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, compassionate, and efficient healthcare delivery within community-based clinical services. This role coordinates daily clinic operations, supervises support staff, strengthens quality assurance systems, and supports the REACH Program Manager in achieving clinical, departmental, and organisational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Purpose
- Develop medical policies and procedures and monitor adherence across clinical operations.
- Assess trends in client healthcare needs to guide the development and improvement of medical services.
- Review medical KPIs and OKRs regularly and provide ongoing clinical advice and consultation to staff.
- Organise and assign duties to clinical team members; evaluate team activities, needs, and challenges on a daily or as-needed basis.
- Oversee staff schedules to ensure productivity and adequate staffing levels.
- Evaluate clinical team performance and conduct performance appraisals.
- Supervise patient care delivery and coordinate onboarding of new clinical staff.
- Conduct face-to-face medical consultations and provide remote clinical support when required.
Engagement
- Conduct periodic staff meetings with clinical team members.
- Present clinical data and reports to the Management team.
- Resolve patient and staff complaints in a diplomatic and timely manner.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Coordinate care delivery with members of the multidisciplinary health team.
- Provide clinical input for new business development initiatives.
Delivery
- Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of medical care and clinical documentation.
- Regularly review medical KPIs and OKRs to support continuous quality improvement.
Targeted Specialized Knowledge (Requirements)
- Degree in Medicine (MBBS, MbChB, MD, or DO) from a globally, nationally, or state-recognised university in line with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) guidelines.
- Completion of compulsory internship and a minimum of two years post-NYSC experience.
- Up-to-date MDCN registration and valid practicing license.
- Completion of BLS and ACLS certifications.

- Research unusual symptoms and treatment options in consultation with physicians and other medical specialists.
