Job Description

T.O.N Corporate Services is recruiting a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business acquisition across trade-related sectors. This role suits a results-driven sales professional with strong experience in B2B financial services, cross-border payments, and enterprise client acquisition, capable of opening new markets and closing high-value deals in a fast-paced, target-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute a strategic new business acquisition approach, including prospect research and outreach.
  • Acquire new customers monthly from import/export, freight forwarding, logistics, or trade aggregation sectors.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition targets across sign-ups, onboarding, and transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CFOs, procurement heads, and logistics leads.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools for deal tracking and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of new clients.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform commercial strategy, messaging, and product development.
  • Represent the brand at relevant trade events to generate qualified leads and expand market presence.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, trade finance, or payment solutions.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and consistently achieving client acquisition targets.
  • Experience selling to importers/exporters, freight forwarders, aggregators, or trade-related businesses.
  • Strong understanding of international payments, FX flows, and African cross-border trade dynamics.
  • Experience selling into other African markets such as Ghana, Kenya, or Ivory Coast is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Fluency in English; French language skills are an added advantage.
  • Physical presence in Nigeria with willingness to travel as required.
