Job Description

An experienced Project Manager is required to lead complex telecommunications and network deployment initiatives for Procept Associates Professional Services Limited (Procept Africa), a franchisee of Procept Associates Ltd. This role focuses on delivering large-scale FTTH deployments, integrating Ericsson platforms, telecom charging systems, OSS/BSS environments, and supporting AI-driven solutions across multi-country operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of telecom projects and programs, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive implementation and integration of FTTH, telecom charging systems, OSS/BSS environments, and Ericsson solutions.
  • Plan and oversee site surveys, network rollout, quality assurance, and final project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve issues to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, deliverables, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Oversee AI-enabled initiatives within telecom projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, dashboards, and governance artefacts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to support high-performance delivery.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large-scale telecom projects or programs (telecom experience is mandatory).
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Ericsson platforms and telecom charging systems.
  • Proven exposure to AI applications in telecom, digital transformation, or network automation.
  • Strong understanding of telecom networks, FTTH deployments, OSS/BSS, and operational processes.
  • Excellent project management skills covering planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master (mandatory).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, complex environments while managing multiple priorities.
