Job Description
Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional for the role of Analyst, Fuel Management. The successful candidate will support fuel operations performance by analyzing consumption data, improving reporting systems, supporting procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong data interpretation skills, operational insight, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business units.
Location: Head Office, Lagos
Job Responsibilities
• Collect, validate, and analyze fuel consumption data across departments to identify trends, irregularities, and cost-saving opportunities
• Support fuel forecasting, monitor inventory levels, and assist procurement to maintain optimal stock and prevent shortages
• Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports on fuel usage, cost analysis, and efficiency initiatives for management and compliance purposes
• Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate data flow and effective coordination
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with fuel supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes
• Utilize fuel management systems and data analytics tools to enhance tracking accuracy and reporting efficiency
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Data Analysis
• Strong ability to design and implement tools and processes while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret numerical and written data and provide contextual insights
• High attention to detail with the ability to contribute to strategic discussions using data-driven insights
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Proven project and process management experience in a dynamic business environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
