Finance Manager at Aku

Aku is seeking a highly competent Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure strong financial control across the organization. This role is suited for a strategic finance professional with solid leadership experience and a strong understanding of financial reporting, treasury management, and regulatory compliance. The Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting informed decision-making and maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations
• Process payments and manage accounts payable and receivable functions
• Monitor budgets, track expenses, and oversee cash flow management
• Manage treasury operations, including cash forecasting and fund transfers
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control policies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in fintech, banking, payment services, or high-growth environments
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and sound organizational skills
