Job Description
Efficacy Development Plc is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management, contract administration, and financial control across construction projects. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with quality and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Review project documentation including scope of work, drawings, preambles, and technical specifications
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, and overhead expenses
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Evaluate and certify completed works to facilitate subcontractor payments
- Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and contract adherence
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and subcontractor valuations
- Assess and negotiate tender documents, contractor bids, and supplier pricing
- Track material quantities on-site and support weekly progress reporting
- Monitor budgets, demand forecasts, and potential time overruns
- Evaluate variations and change orders in line with contract agreements
Job Requirements
- BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor (procurement experience is an advantage)
- Registered Quantity Surveyor certification is required
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills
- Sound knowledge of construction processes and industry standards
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant construction software
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
