Job Description

A reputable manufacturing company in Sagamu, Ogun State is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily plant operations and drive efficiency across production lines. The role focuses on achieving output targets, maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and leading cross-functional collaboration within an industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet output and delivery targets.
• Develop and implement production schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Monitor production performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes, HSE policies, and environmental standards.
• Manage labor, materials, and equipment to optimize production output.
• Track and report key performance metrics such as OEE, downtime, yield, and scrap rates.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and HR teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
• Lead, train, and motivate production teams to achieve operational excellence.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in production or manufacturing management within construction or industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality management systems.
• Proven ability to lead large operational teams and improve plant efficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
