Job Description

IfeanHealth Nigeria Limited is recruiting a qualified and compassionate Physiotherapist to provide professional rehabilitation services to patients experiencing physical challenges due to injury, illness, disability, or age-related conditions. The role involves delivering patient-centered care focused on improving mobility, relieving pain, and restoring functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment findings
• Administer therapy techniques including manual therapy, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, and structured rehabilitation programs
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans where necessary
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, recovery processes, and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure proper documentation of treatment sessions
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, ethical, and professional standards
• Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings when required

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a Physiotherapist
• Valid practicing license from the appropriate regulatory body
• Strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques and rehabilitation practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Good documentation and report-writing skills
• Experience in orthopedic, neurological, or sports rehabilitation is an added advantage
• Strong patient management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
