Job Description
A reputable financial services firm in Victoria Island, Lagos is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand client portfolios, and strengthen strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven ability to achieve revenue targets in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth.
- Identify, acquire, and manage new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Promote financial products and services to prospective clients and partners.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (MBA, ICAN, ACCA, CIS, etc.) is an added advantage.
- 5–8 years’ experience in business development or sales within financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and operational processes.
- Proficiency in banking software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
