Job Description

Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a Senior UX / UI Designer to lead the design of intuitive, accessible, and high-performing financial products. This role requires a strategic product thinker with deep UX/UI expertise who can translate complex fintech concepts into seamless digital experiences across mobile and web platforms. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally, mentor junior designers, and drive user-centred innovation within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs
  • Lead the end-to-end product design process, from research and discovery to wireframing, prototyping, and final UI delivery
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments to validate and refine solutions
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure smooth design implementation
  • Build and maintain scalable UI components and contribute to an evolving design system
  • Advocate for accessibility (A11y) and inclusive design standards across products
  • Create refined micro-interactions and motion elements to enhance usability and engagement
  • Use data insights to continuously optimise user experience and drive measurable impact
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to uphold high design standards
  • Stay updated on fintech and SaaS design trends to support product innovation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a senior product design role with strong UX leadership exposure
  • Advanced knowledge of visual design principles including typography, layout, grid systems, and colour theory
  • Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and user flow optimisation
  • Proven experience designing responsive and adaptive solutions for both mobile and web platforms
  • Strong understanding of behavioural psychology and user decision-making patterns
  • Hands-on experience conducting usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design decisions
  • Familiarity with UX analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar
  • Proficiency in atomic design principles and scalable UI frameworks
  • Experience with motion design tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or Principle
  • Advanced Figma skills, including auto layout, design tokens, component variants, and interactive prototyping
  • Demonstrated experience in fintech and/or SaaS environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to articulate design rationale
  • Experience mentoring junior designers and working within agile product teams
