Job Description

LinkOrgNetwork Limited is hiring a skilled and safety-focused Telecoms Rigger to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures. This role is ideal for professionals with strong climbing expertise, hands-on technical knowledge, and a strict commitment to safety standards within the telecommunications industry.

Salary: N275,000 – N300,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment including wireless antennas, satellite dishes, fiber optic cables, and structured cabling systems
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety compliance
  • Conduct safety checks, risk assessments, and adhere strictly to PPE and fall protection requirements before and during climbing operations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in telecom systems and replace or repair defective components
  • Collaborate with ground technicians and engineers to install, test, and commission telecom equipment
  • Document completed tasks, report technical issues, and maintain accurate service records
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on evolving telecommunications technologies and safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related field is preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience working at heights, preferably within telecommunications or construction
  • Proven experience as a Telecoms Rigger or tower climber
  • Certification in tower climbing and rescue (ComTrain or equivalent) is required
  • Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, safety procedures, wireless antenna systems, and fiber cabling/splicing
  • Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently
  • Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous tasks at heights
  • Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
