Job Description

A Key Account Manager is needed to drive strategic partnerships and manage top-tier business accounts in Nigeria. This role focuses on building strong relationships with key partners, using data-driven insights to improve performance, and developing long-term growth and profitability strategies. It requires a balance of analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and relationship management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a full 360-degree view of top partner accounts and overall business performance
  • Understand partner goals and challenges to provide strategic guidance and tailored support
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth, profitability, and operational improvement
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies across growth, promotions, advertising, and operations
  • Increase revenue through commission negotiations and promotion of platform assets
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to deliver customized solutions
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key partners, converting them into preferred partners

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Account Management or business development (experience in startups, consulting firms, or tech companies is an advantage)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; knowledge of additional data analysis tools is a plus
  • Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage both high-level strategy and detailed execution effectively
  • Highly organized with strong time management and deadline-driven work style
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach
