Facilities Manager – Residential Properties at CBRE Excellerate
Job Description
A Facilities Manager is needed to oversee residential property operations across the West African region. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, managing costs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality facilities management services. The position also involves building strong client relationships and driving sustainability and energy management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and performance of facilities across multiple residential sites
- Ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations, contracts, and KPIs
- Manage technical operations to maintain efficiency and high service standards
- Develop and manage regional budgets while ensuring financial targets are met
- Lead cost optimization initiatives through effective procurement and vendor management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders
- Supervise, train, and develop teams across different locations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations
- Drive sustainability, energy management, and continuous improvement programs
- Monitor and report on operational and financial performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, preferably within residential properties
- Proven experience managing multiple sites across different locations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in budget management, vendor coordination, and performance reporting
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
- Professional certification in Facilities Management is an added advantage
- Membership in a recognized professional body is desirable
- Willingness to travel within the West African region
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
