Westfield Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence within the oil and gas sector. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting strategic business initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and acquiring new business opportunities
- Source and evaluate new prospects, and maintain accurate client databases and contact lists
- Prepare and submit high-quality proposals and tenders within required timelines
- Conduct market and competitive intelligence to support bidding and strategic decisions
- Deliver presentations on company capabilities to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage stakeholder relationships across ongoing and prospective contracts
- Develop business solutions to maximize the utilization of marine assets and services
- Support planning and execution of newly secured contracts to ensure expectations are met
- Monitor contract payments and follow up with clients as required
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on activities, tenders, and prospects
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Management, or Social Sciences
- Professional certification in Marketing or Project Management is an added advantage
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing within oil and gas contractor firms (Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream)
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles and client development in a professional services environment
- Excellent opportunity identification, negotiation, and networking skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and reporting abilities
