Director of Technology

A technology-driven freight forwarding company is seeking a Director of Technology to lead digital transformation and oversee the evolution of its internal technology ecosystem. This role focuses on building scalable systems, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing visibility across global logistics operations. Compensation: USD 150,000 – USD 175,000 yearly + Bonus + Profit Sharing

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap aligned with business goals
• Design, manage, and optimize system architecture for scalability and efficiency
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, including system modernization and automation
• Oversee integrations across logistics, finance, and customer experience platforms
• Drive user adoption and change management for new and existing systems
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance to support business growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and leadership
• Mentor and lead a small internal technology team

Requirements

• 7–12+ years of experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, or business systems
• Strong expertise in enterprise SaaS ecosystems, system architecture, and integrations
• Experience with Salesforce ecosystem (CRM, integrations, Apex) is an advantage
• Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives
• Strong experience in change management and driving user adoption
• Ability to design and manage integrations across multiple systems
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is strongly preferred
• Understanding of international freight operations (air, ocean, multi-leg shipments) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Ability to operate effectively in a lean, hands-on environment
