Job Description
A detail-oriented Accountant is required to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support daily accounting operations within a financial services environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and experience in microfinance or related sectors.
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N250,000 – N350,000 monthly
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Utilize accounting software for efficient financial management
Job Requirements
- BSc in Accounting or a related field
- 2 – 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Professional certification such as ACA or ACCA (completed or in view)
- Prior experience working in a Microfinance Bank or financial services company
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
