Nepal Energies Limited is hiring a Lubricant Accountant to oversee inventory accounting and ensure accurate stock control across multiple locations. This role is suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can maintain reliable inventory records, support financial reporting, and contribute to efficient operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of bulk and packaged lubricant inventory across all locations
- Record and reconcile stock movements including receipts, transfers, issues, and returns
- Perform regular reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records, resolving discrepancies
- Manage inventory by SKU, grade, batch, and pack size, including tracking slow-moving stock
- Verify goods receipt and dispatch documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Post inventory transactions in the ERP system while ensuring data integrity
- Monitor inventory valuation in line with FIFO principles and track associated costs
- Support margin analysis, pricing decisions, and budgeting processes
- Coordinate periodic stock counts and prepare variance reports
- Monitor stock losses and ensure compliance with approved control measures
- Prepare inventory and performance reports for management
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, sales, and production teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audit activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, or FMCG
- Strong background in inventory accounting and reconciliation
- Knowledge of product costing and margin analysis
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Professional certification such as ACA or ACCA is an advantage
- Cost accounting experience is an added advantage
