A Public Relations Specialist is needed to support brand communication efforts and strengthen media presence for a leading technology company. This role focuses on managing media relations, shaping public perception, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across relevant platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and distribute press releases aligned with the company’s communication strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local media outlets to enhance brand visibility
- Engage with media professionals, KOLs, KOCs, and tech bloggers to coordinate promotional content
- Monitor public sentiment and manage brand reputation, especially during crises or negative publicity
- Support the marketing team with communication and public relations initiatives
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality PR campaigns and media engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in public relations, media relations, or communications
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
- Existing network with media professionals and influencers is an advantage
- Experience in crisis communication and public opinion management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
