Job Description

A Business Relationship Manager is required to drive merchant acquisition, strengthen client relationships, and support revenue growth. This role involves developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting financial products within the local market. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive customer acquisition through active promotion of financial products and services
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and digital channels
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Build, manage, and maintain long-term business relationships with merchants and clients
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and evaluate customer needs
  • Present products and services clearly to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales outcomes and customer experience
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with relevant teams
  • Participate in trade fairs, community marketing events, and other outreach programs
  • Recommend suitable financial products based on customer needs and objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institution
  • 4–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or related sectors
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry and local market dynamics
  • Experience in merchant onboarding and relationship management
  • Familiarity with selling lending products and POS devices is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking and business acumen
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
