Job Description

Gabsdan Ventures is seeking a detail-oriented and highly trustworthy Account Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy across all departments. This role requires strong numerical reasoning, integrity, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality while delivering timely financial reports and enforcing accounting policies.

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N300,000 – N450,000 monthly

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sales reports for all departments
• Manage petty cash disbursement and maintain accurate records
• Conduct bank reconciliations and confirm customer transfers
• Monitor inventory postings and report discrepancies
• Prepare product performance and departmental profit reports
• Analyze supplier receipts and verify stock supplied for payment processing
• Raise cheques for supplier payments
• Reconcile open market purchases with the Procurement Officer/Manager
• Participate in stock counting and prepare discrepancy reports
• Serve as an internal control agent by auditing Cash Officer activities
• Ensure timely remittance of PAYE
• Train Cash Officers and Cashiers on approved processes
• Maintain accurate records for annual returns filing
• Report anomalies in financial records and inventory
• Support Cash Officer duties when required

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Accounting or a related field
• Must be a Chartered Member or Student Member of ICAN
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Good command of the English language
• Must reside in Asaba, Delta State or be willing to relocate
• Age range: 28 to 45 years
• Must pass medical and background verification checks
