Job Description

Fina Trust Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced and customer-focused professional to fill the role of Regional Head of Operations. The ideal candidate will oversee branch operations within the assigned region, drive operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional banking services.

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N300,000 – N400,000 monthly

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily branch operations and coordinate the activities of Operations staff, Customer Service Officers, Tellers, and Heads of Operations within the region.
• Drive operational efficiency initiatives to improve branch performance and service delivery standards.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and operational procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams to achieve productivity and performance goals.
• Monitor customer service quality and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction across branches.
• Support the implementation of operational best practices and continuous improvement processes.
• Prepare operational reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in banking or microfinance operations management.
• Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Sound understanding of banking operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage teams across multiple branch locations effectively.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
