A leading software company in the e-mobility industry is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to help shape the future of a large scale cloud platform that powers electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Europe. Job Responsibilities
  • Design and own solution architecture for cross team platform initiatives while aligning with the organization’s long term technology strategy.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including APIs, domain models, integrations, and system interfaces.
  • Develop cloud native architectures using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices to ensure scalability, resilience, and security.
  • Lead architecture initiatives such as platform modernization, migrations, third party integrations, and proof of concept projects.
  • Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve the software ecosystem.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams while ensuring compliance with quality and security standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, DevOps, Engineering, and project stakeholders on strategic technical decisions.
  • Mentor software engineers and architects to promote technical excellence and best engineering practices.
  • Support enterprise customer implementations by developing solution and migration strategies when required.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience in Java Enterprise or Spring environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or Senior Solution Architect designing distributed cloud native systems.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, microservices, REST APIs, and modern software architecture principles.
  • Solid understanding of software scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and SaaS platform design.
  • Proven experience leading large architecture redesigns, platform migrations, or complex integration projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments. Knowledge of SAFe is an advantage.
  • Fluent English communication skills. Basic German language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Experience within the electric vehicle charging industry or relevant architecture certifications is a plus.
