Job Description
New Horizons Computer Learning Centers is seeking a skilled Full Stack Development Instructor to train and mentor aspiring software developers. The successful candidate will deliver practical, instructor-led training covering modern front-end and back-end technologies while helping students develop the technical and professional skills required for successful careers in software development.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions on full stack web development technologies.
- Develop practical coding exercises, projects, and hands-on learning activities.
- Mentor students on software development best practices, debugging, and version control.
- Assess student performance through assignments, practical projects, and examinations.
- Keep course content updated with current industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Provide guidance on portfolio development and career readiness.
- Maintain training facilities and ensure a productive learning environment.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one front-end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience with back-end technologies including Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Teaching or training experience is an added advantage.
- Post-NYSC teaching experience is desirable.
- Graphics design knowledge using Photoshop or CorelDraw is an added advantage.
- Professional cloud certifications such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud are a plus.
