A leading global research technology company is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure while supporting engineering teams with modern CI/CD practices and cloud-native technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and related automation tools.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to provide infrastructure expertise on development projects.
- Automate deployment processes and eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
- Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to improve application reliability and performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production infrastructure issues.
- Support cloud platform expansion and continuous improvement initiatives across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Requirements
- Proven experience working in cloud infrastructure roles with a strong focus on AWS and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience managing AWS services and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Packer.
- Excellent knowledge of Docker containers and containerized application deployment.
- Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous integration tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, Golang, Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Good understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern application deployment practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Graphite, or PagerDuty.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering Kubernetes clusters.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPC routing and Layer 4/Layer 7 networking.
- Experience managing DNS infrastructure and HTTP APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including security groups, network ACLs, and threat management.
- Experience managing Windows Server environments in AWS.
- Familiarity with continuous deployment strategies such as Blue/Green deployments or load balancer traffic shifting.
