Job Description

A multinational technology consulting company is seeking an experienced Business System Analyst to join its fully remote team. This role focuses on supporting a U.S.-based client by defining business and data integration requirements, improving clinical research workflows, and ensuring seamless integration between enterprise systems and the Partex.AI platform. The ideal candidate has strong business analysis experience within the CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system and data integrations.
  • Define data mapping, transformation rules, workflows, and integration specifications for development teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers, clinical operations teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze business processes, identify operational gaps, and recommend technology-driven improvements.
  • Produce process flow diagrams and data flow documentation for clinical research and site selection workflows.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating traceability documentation and validating business requirements.
  • Monitor data quality, integration performance, and recommend corrective actions where needed.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure platform implementations meet documented business requirements.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience gathering business requirements for system integrations and data mapping.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, business rules, and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience within the clinical research, CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial operations, feasibility studies, and site selection processes.
  • Familiarity with clinical data platforms such as CTMS, EDC, IRT, Medidata, Citeline, ClinicalTrials.gov, or similar solutions.
  • Ability to understand APIs, database schemas, and write or interpret basic SQL queries.
  • Experience creating process flows, data flow diagrams, and business documentation.
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or OnePlan.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with clinical intelligence, survey, SaaS, EDC, CTMS, or site intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, data pipelines, GxP/CSV, and lakehouse environments.
  • Business Analysis certifications or wireframing/mockup experience will be an advantage.
