Aviation Compliance Analyst at Zipline Nigeria – Africa (Remote)

Job Description

Zipline Nigeria is seeking an Aviation Compliance Analyst to support aviation regulatory compliance across its operations in Africa. The role focuses on maintaining regulatory documentation, monitoring compliance requirements, supporting audits and inspections, and ensuring operational practices remain aligned with applicable aviation regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of regulatory approval packages and maintain records of approval conditions and post-approval requirements.
• Maintain and update aviation manuals, regulatory documents, and operational materials.
• Organize and version-control documentation required for regulatory approvals, audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
• Maintain compliance dashboards and trackers covering licenses, permits, certificates, approvals, renewals, regulatory commitments, operational limitations, and deadlines.
• Support internal compliance monitoring, audit readiness, findings management, non-compliance tracking, CAPA follow-up, and closure documentation.
• Prepare and maintain records related to safety occurrences and regulatory reporting.
• Manage assigned compliance workstreams independently and escalate risks, gaps, delays, or unclear regulatory requirements when necessary.
• Standardize compliance processes, documentation templates, reporting systems, and training materials across multiple countries.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of compliance tools, safety management systems, and aviation compliance platforms.
• Work with country teams, operations leaders, safety teams, and regulatory colleagues to translate aviation requirements into practical field-level processes.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in aviation compliance, quality, safety, documentation control, aviation operations, or flight operations.
• Experience in UAS/drone aviation or manned aviation is an advantage.
• Strong ability to independently manage structured compliance workstreams with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience supporting or conducting internal audits and managing findings and CAPAs.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory and operational requirements and translate them into clear, auditable systems and records.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple jurisdictions with different regulatory requirements and levels of maturity.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple compliance priorities and deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, multi-country aviation environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across African countries where operations are located.
