Job Description

An international television and streaming media house, building a cutting-edge, digital-first platform, launching very soon is looking to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer. It spans a public website, mobile and smart-TV apps, live streaming, and internal newsroom tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Website ownership: Operate and extend the website handed over from the delivery partner.
  • CMS integration: Integrate and maintain the headless content management system the newsroom publishes through, including publish webhooks and editorial preview.
  • Performance & Accessibility: Keep the site fast, responsive and accessible across devices and across weak and strong connections.
  • Measurement: Implement audience-measurement tags and support the analytics setup.

 

Key Requirements

  • Modern frontend: Strong JavaScript and TypeScript, with React or Next.js (or equivalent).
  • Production web delivery: Sites you personally shipped and kept running under real traffic, in any stack. Tell us the biggest traffic event you handled and what you changed afterwards.
  • Performance with numbers: You can name your before and after on a real site, and the method you used to get there.
