Program Coordinator
Job Description
Women for Women International is looking to hire a Program Coordinator.
Location: Plateau State
Employment Type: Contract
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Gender Studies, Community Development, International Development or related field
- 10+ years’ relevant professional experience, including 5+ years in program coordination/project management
- Experience in NGO/INGO and community-based programs
- Strong experience in GBV prevention, women’s rights, gender equality or community development
- Experience engaging traditional leaders, government, CBOs and faith-based organisations
- Experience managing budgets, consultants, teams and stakeholders
- Strong report writing, communication and coordination skills
- Fluent English and Hausa required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate GBV prevention activities across Bokkos & Jos East LGAs
- Lead stakeholder engagement and community mobilisation
- Supervise GBV Champions and project personnel
- Coordinate consultants and implementation partners
- Monitor activities, budgets, risks and program outcomes
- Prepare reports, documentation and lessons learned
- Ensure safeguarding, compliance and conflict-sensitive implementation
