Head of Supply Chain & Logistics
Job Description
A manufacturing firm is looking to hire Head of Supply Chain & Logistics who will lead and oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations of the brewery, ensuring the efficient sourcing, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution of products.
Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Salary: ₦23.00M – ₦25.00M per year
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the brewery’s end-to-end supply chain strategy.
- Lead procurement, warehouse, logistics, inventory and customer service functions.
- Drive service excellence while optimizing total supply chain costs. Procurement Management.
- Lead sourcing and procurement activities across direct and indirect materials.
- Drive efficient conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO).
- Ensure timely supplier deliveries and performance management.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and improve supplier value creation.
- Develop cost-effective primary and secondary delivery models.
- Manage outsourced fleet providers and third-party transport partners.
- Optimize freight cost per case delivered.
- Design and continuously improve delivery service models aligned to distributor profiles and stocking norms.
- Oversee Raw Material, Packaging Material and Finished Goods warehouses.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, stock rotation and loss minimization.
- Drive improvements in inventory turns and working capital efficiency.
- Ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) order fulfillment.
- Improve service levels across all distributor channels.
- Develop supply solutions supporting route-to-market objectives.
