Job Description
A firm is looking to hire a Video Editing & Motion Graphics Lead to lead video editing projects from concept to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead video editing projects from concept to final delivery – short & long-form content for social, ads, and digital platforms
- Create custom motion graphics, animations, kinetic typography, and VFX from scratch
- Own complex, high-priority projects requiring advanced editing/motion skills
- Manage and mentor a team of editors – assign tasks, review work, give feedback, act as final QC
- Set and maintain editing/motion graphics standards across the team
- Improve workflows, tools, and processes to boost team output
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align video with brand/campaign goals
Key Requirements
- 7+ years in professional video editing, incl. 3+ years hands-on motion graphics
- Proven experience leading/managing a video editing team
- Strong portfolio: advanced editing + motion design + visual storytelling
- Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
- Experience creating content for social, marketing, ads, or digital brands
Nice to Have
- Blender/Cinema 4D
- 3D/VFX compositing
- Figma familiarity
- SaaS/product explainer videos
- AI-assisted video tools
- Remote team management experience
